Crazy as fuck, "bad boy" pop wonders Dom will be releasing an alternate version of their highly anticipated "FAMILY OF LOVE" EP through Australian label MODULAR PEOPLE.

The Modular release is said to be a less polished mix and sound which is more true to what the band was going for on the 5 song follow up to last years killer "SUN BRONZED GREEK GODS".

The more "polished" sounding version of "FAMILY OF LOVE" is being released in the US by ASTRALWERKS on August 9th.

From what I can tell, these kids are still in high school. I can't find much info, though. Their songs range from snotty brat pop to mellow "hand clappy" tunes.

Miller Rodriguez, aka MICKEY MICKEY ROURKE, recently sent me this trippy guitar pop "thing" that I can't stop listening to. 

The song is "SATANIC YOUTH BRIGADE" and will appear on his upcoming album MAGIC USERS. 

MMR puts out a ton of music and has plenty of it available on his BANDCAMP. 

Get weird.

SPECTRALS makes non-chalant, yet immediate pop music with a 60's bounce.

These songs are recorded well with appropriate amounts of dreamy reverb thrown in to make you feel as though Gidget might pop around the corner and blow you a kiss.

Beach music without all of the annoying bullshit unnecessary fuzz that the past years have made so mandatory.

I recommend listening to "LEAVE ME BE" and checking into their CAPTURED TRACKS 7".

MUSIC /// SPIRIT TRAMP - DREAM SALUTE

SPIRIT TRAMP is JT Bringardner, the dayglo shaman behind OH FORTUNA and one half of sunshine dream drippers RABBIT PUNCH.

"DREAM SALUTE" is a beautifully simple acoustic drifter, sounding like Elliott Smith made it to Heaven and is hanging out under a phosphorescent lemon tree strumming for eternity.

Keep an eye out for more SPIRIT TRAMP, as it's bound to be making the rounds.
