if you don't follow radiolab then you are in for a freak-out kind of treat. awhile ago they did a show about time where they profiled this guy who digitally stretched beethoven's 9th symphony, so that played from beginning to end, it takes 24-hours to play through. the result is some kind of ambient disutopia of sound. it is beautiful and sometimes haunting, the things you hear when you slow down. a sample can be heard below, or download the free stream here for the whole thing.

Magic Goat Music is a click and download free label that I found via All, Everyone, United. Some really good lo-fi bedroom punk and minimal Nintendo style jams on here. There should be more of this going on.
