junkers ///
This band sounds like a classic to me.
All of the songs I've heard have that stand out rock n' roll quality to them. The kind where either the guitar, vocals, lyrics, drums, whatever, get stuck in your head. Something jumps out and grabs you.
I like bands who know how to mix their songs in the studio. I personally think the largest problem with the new lo-fi movement is a lack of a good ear (i.e. TIMES NEW VIKING, WAVVES, etc) allowing everything to be mixed essentially at the same level and basically becoming a giant puddle of shit sounds.
JUNKERS know what they're doing. They can write awesome songs and they know how to make them live up to that potential in the studio. David Bowie and Marc Bolan would be proud.
Dig on them.

bob burns ///
Bob Burns and the Break Ups have two glammy songs up on their myskizz page that could very well make for the best hand clapping sessions of all time (except for maybe some Bay City Rollers shit) and that's about all I know about these dudes. Their page says they have an LP out, so investigate. It's good shit for sure. Punk rock glam jams. Rhyme time. Slime time. Gime nime.

tunnel of love ///
Tunnel Of Love might already be well known. I don't know if they are or whatever, but they're fucking crazy. Imagine if the Stooges were more into rockabilly and more stripped down and Iggy Pop was even more of fucked up weirdo. It would be this shit. I'm not saying they're /better/ than the Stooges, because, in my book, no one is, BUT --- this shit is AWESOME. Give 'em a listen and if you find a place to buy something, hook me up with a lank.

There is no such thang as too much T Rex. This is a proto-punk glammy garage classic. Get it.
