I have seen the future.This group of presumably ADD-addled visionaries craft songs that can evoke everything from Guided By Voices to post-rock via a dollop of Midwestern emo, something that is pretty surprising considering where they hail from: Birmingham.
This city, situated in the West Midlands of England, is more famous for being the home of Black Sabbath (and, um, Duran Duran) than for being a hotbed of boundary-pushing indie-pop, but in recent years popular beat-combos such as Johnny Foreigner have been dragging the place out of the primordial ooze.
Good for them, because I don't think anyone could tolerate another The Twang.
