Noah Baumbach's (The Squid and the Whale) new flick is coming out this month to select cities. It's called Greenberg and it looks more promising than half the crap that is mass consumed.

A Serious Man ///

The latest Coen brothers film is now out on DVD, Blu-Ray, etc. I figured I should give it a shout out because it slipped under the mainstream radar. I enjoyed the movie a lot. There really isn't much of a plot like a lot of their other films. And certainly the end doesn't tie everything--or anything--into a nice little bow. But this is why we love the Coen brothers. They have the immaculate ability to depict the human struggle through a motley cast of characters and their latest film achieves this with perfection.
