Mad props to SURFER BLOOD for putting their foot down and calling a dick when they see a dick.
Apparently they played a show organized by POPLIFE down in Miami over the weekend and the security was douching it up and the band called that shit out on stage and the promoter then decided not to pay them their cut of what ended up being an accumulated $12,000 (the tickets were fucking $20 for PAINS OF BEING PURE AT HEART and SURFER BLOOD, what the hell?)
Good call, though, guys.

i think i tried to tell you that they are good people. at least the one's i talked to ever so briefly. they have a benefit concert coming up for the oil spill. rad.
