kristen stewart /// don't change

Last night Kristen Stewart appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman. And of course the blogosphere was quick to call it out for being another "awkward" appearance.

Here it is:

Here's another one that Gawker called a "disaster" and "trainwreck":

I just don't get it. In every interview that I've seen, Kristen Stewart seems like a decent, real person. Somebody that would actually be fun to hang out with. Not a Hollywood phony like a lot of the empty vessels that wander onto a late night couch with rehearsed dialogue. Admittedly, she is a little bit awkward in these interviews, but it is endearing. Plus, you'd feel a bit awkward too. You know, if you had to sit on couch and be asked a bunch of inane questions by a perverted old man in front of an audience of troglodytes.

Keep it real, Kristen Stewart.
Don't change.
