Waylon has mentioned this guy before, but in case you missed it, here is another link to one of my favourite glaswegians in the world right now.
Sloppy and trebly, but lacking the pretension a lot of similar musicians of this type have, Johnny's tunes carry over even without the layers of fuzz he piles on in recording (Tear Jerks have had the honour of sharing a practice space with Surrrf on occasion).
He also spent an afternoon behind the drum stool in Jerks while I played in Kill Surrrf, but moved on swiftly after it was established that we're both pretty shit drummers.
